I am going to tell you how to make a samugetan. Do you know samugetan? Samugetan is Korean food. Samugetan stands for spring chicken, jujube, ginseng, glutinous rice, ginger, garlic, chestnut, ginkgo nut, green onion, salt and pepper. It is healthy food.
First, you need to wash the ingredients. Second, give the glutinous rice soak in water for thirty minutes. Third, put the ingredients exclude green onion, ginger, salt and pepper into belly of spring chicken, and this time dressing is about ninety percent, because glutinous rice is bulge with water. After that, close the belly of spring chicken with two skewers not to over the ingredients from belly of spring chicken, and bind the crossed legs with a thick string. Next, put the spring chicken and water into a pot. Then, put green onion and ginger into a pot, and stew it for three hours.
In addition, while stew it, you need to skim the scum and fat from the broth. Then, stew it until the soup decrease about one-third. And turn off the gas. Finally, season with salt and pepper in your favorite taste. And add the green onion.
I advise you to use the better the spring chicken of import than Japanese one. Because, Japanese one is not suitable for samugetan. Lastly, I tell you quantity of samugetan. This is the quantity for one person. One spring chicken, one-third go of glutinous rice, two ginsengs, three jujubes, five ginkgo nuts, three chestnuts, one cut green onion, and a little salt and pepper.
This food is very healthy and delicious. This dish contains a lot of collagen. So, it is good for your skin. And it makes your body very warm. Please be sure to cook it or eat it with your family, friends, boyfriend, or girlfriend in winter season, but samugetan is summer food in Korea. When you visit to Korea, let's try to eat it!
