Dinner

Last Sunday night, my parents and I invited for dinner by my brother in Hotel New Otani. He is cook in there. We wore full dress. We left home at about 17:20. We went to there by my father's car. We arrived there at 18:00. We went to the restaurant "四季-shiki-" in the first basement. It was private room. We were so excited. My brother made all dishes by only himself, but the desserts were made by my brother's girl friend. She is patissier in Hotel New Otani.


We ate foie gras, truffle, sashimi, flan, corn potage soup, Carpaccio, lobster, yuzu sherbet, fillet steak with green pepper sauce, pudding with strawberry sauce, milk gelato with fruits, black sesame breads, and coffee. They were very delicious!!! Wonderful!!! He presented champagne for my parents. And he gave me fizz (non alcohol). We appreciated for him. And I respect him. We had a wonderful day♪

Vacation plans

I am going to Minnesota in United States in summer vacation. In addition, I am going to go to Bethel University. I am so excited, but a little nervous, because I have never been to foreign countries. To tell the truth, I wanted to go to Canada, but this year has only America course. I was disappointed at first. But now, I am looking forward to going there. I cannot speak English fluently, so I worry about it. My host parents have six children. I think very enjoyable. I am the youngest in my family, but I am the oldest in my host sibling. By the way I have to write the report, and presentation. They trouble me.

BR 1-14: The Tortoise and the Eagle

I read The Tortoise and the Eagle. This is a story about a tortoise. He had everything a tortoise could want. He had a lovely log to sit on, juicy apples to eat and a very shiny shell. But he wasn't happy. All day long, he saw an eagle in the sky. Flying low. Flying high. It had golden feathers and great big wings. The tortoise wished he could fly.


He climbed onto a rock, jumped into the air and flopped onto his belly. He climbed up a tree, jumped into the air and landed splat in a puddle. He called to the eagle. He wants to be like the eagle. The eagle asks him to give something. He is going to give him his log and his apples. He agreed and He took the tortoise into the sky.


Up and up the eagle rose up through the clouds to the bright blue sky. The tortoise looked at the ground. It was a very long way down. He felt dizzy. But he doesn't like it up here. So the eagle took the tortoise back to the ground. The eagle told him the tortoise has no feathers and no wings. He is not made for flying.


The tortoise smiled. He watched the eagle go. He ate his apples. He sat on his log. And he no longer wanted to fly. I thought tortoise couldn’t fly, but he can something to do in the ground. And I thought the eagle is kind.Sims, L. (2009). The Tortoise and the Eagle. London: Usborne Publishing Ltd.

Illness

I had a cold since two days ago. Yesterday I felt very tired and cold. In addition I had a sore throat, runny nose and fever. So I went to hospital after school. Then doctor said "You had tonsillitis". I took a blood sample and I had drip infusion about an hour. I had a fever of thirty-eight degrees. I was burning with fever. After that I went home, I slept for a long time. I couldn't eat anything. And I couldn't stand up only myself. My father bought sports drink for me, and gave me a glass of sports drink. My mother made rice porridge. The fever reached about forty degrees. I felt very hot. My parents nursed me back to health. I appreciate for them. The next morning, I rallied from my illness than yesterday through drip infusion. And I have a good appetite today. I ate rice porridge, and onion soup. They were delicious. After eating, I drank some medicines. They were bitter. Next I had to go to hospital again in order to have drip infusion. It took an hour. I was sleeping in the hospital. Now, I feel so good. I appreciate doctor, nurses, and my parents. Thank you so much.

About my blogging

My blog's name is C's house. Color is pink. I don't like to type the blog, because it is troublesome. I have to type ten thousand words in my blog. It is hard for me. I contribute book reviews, essays, diary, typing homework, and so on. Especially I don't like book reviews. First reason is I have to borrow some books from library. Second reason is I don't like reading a book. It always makes me gloomy. But, I'm glad to see comments in my blog. I appreciate for commentators. Thank you very much.

Happy day♥

I went to downtown with my friend after second period. To tell the truth, I have three classes today, but I absented third period, and went to there. Because my friend had part-time job, so she had to come home early. We walked to there.

First we entered the Haagen-Dazs where is famous for ice cream shop. Every Wednesday, we can choose seven flavors. It costs 5oo yen. I chose Strawberry, White peach, Alphonso Mango and Cream, Rum raisin, Framboise, Raspberry and Cream, and Green Tea. They were so delicious ♥ I felt very happy.
My favorite flavor is Strawberry. Framboise is very sour for me. Ice cream of Haagen-Dazs is a little expensive, so I rarely eat it. I entered this shop for the first time.

Then we went to Matsumoto Kiyoshi. I bought four goods. Concretely, body cream in order to guard my skin from sunburn. In addition three cream genmai brans. Tastes are strawberry, sesame, and blue berry. My favorite taste is strawberry. It is so delicious. My friend recommended for me the sesame taste, so I tried to eat. It was delicious too. Blue berry taste also good. I like maple taste too. I like cream genmai bran. I often buy it at Matsumoto Kiyoshi. Because I think maybe Matsumoto Kiyoshi is the cheaper than any other stores. Its list price is about 158 yen, but Matsumoto Kiyoshi sells it 78 yen!!! It is incredible! I like Matsumoto Kiyoshi ♥

Next we went to PASAR where is accessory shop. My favorite shop ♪ There were a lot of cute goods. For example, hair gums, pendants, necklaces, bracelets, rings, barrettes, clothes, shoes, earrings, pierced earrings, mirrors, hair bands, bags, and so on. I wanted many goods in there, but I had not enough money to buy them, so I stood to buy them.

After that we went Daiei. We saw a lot of clothes, rucksacks, and sundry goods. It was fun.
By the way, she had to go to her part-time job. So she went to home on ahead of me.
Then I was hanging out in downtown alone. After I dropped by some shops, I took a tram to Kumamoto station. Then I took a train to Uto station. I went home by my bicycle. Finally I arrived at my house. I enjoyed today ☆

BR 1-13: The Little Giraffe

I read the little Giraffe. The main character is little giraffe. Once, there was a little giraffe. He was the first giraffe in the world. He lived in East Africa with his best friend, Rhino. Every day, they looked for food. But the sun was hot and the earth was dry. There was no food anywhere.

So they went to see the wise man. He made a drink for the little giraffe. The little giraffe began to drink. He grew taller and taller. So he can reach the leaves high in the trees.


Rhino had found some dry grass. He forgot all about the wise man. There was no magic drink left. Rhino was stuck with dry grass. He was angry with the giraffe and the wise man. And he was angry with himself. He is still angry today.


I thought the wise man is so wise. Giraffe has long neck, so he need to tall in order to eat the leaves high in the tree. But Rhino has short legs, and he has not long neck, so he does not need the magic drink. He can eat the grass without the magic drink. This story was interesting.
