I read "There Was A crooked Man". I am going to tell you about this story. The main character is an old man who is wearing the glasses and a unique jacket. He has a stick. He is crooked.
One day, he walked in the forest. There were some birds, and a butterfly. He found a crooked sixpence on a chair. Then he entered a pet shop. He bought a black cat which is crooked.
After that, they went his home. The cat caught a white crooked mouse. They lived together. His house is also crooked. It looks so unique.
He was reading a book on the chair in his garden. The cat chased the mouse. His garden is pretty. There are some trees, flowers, grasses, orange juice on a small table, and a chair. It looks comfortable.
Next, he felt hungry. He wanted to eat grilled fish, so he cooked crooked fish. He was looking forward to eat it, but his cat took it away, so he was so angry. He chased his cat, but he couldn't find his cat. He smelled fish. So he followed it.
He arrived at his crooked shed. He entered his shed, and he found the fish. There were a lot of kittens. They are his cat’s kittens. His cat fed her kittens.
I like this story, because it is a heartwarming story. I felt love of motherhood. At first, I thought the cat was going to eat fish, but it was different. The cover is not so cute, but I felt happy after I read this book. So I want you to read this book.
